Since our foundation in 1981 we have traded under several business names and have witnessed incredible growth in the hospitality industry. Our accounting and advisory services have been helping clients including construction, property development, strata title and body corporate, management rights and tourism operators.

Our People

David Jackson - Senior Partner

David’s extensive knowledge of the hospitality industry sets Hospitality & Strata Pty Ltd apart from our competitors.

His involvement in the construction, property and tourism sectors began in 1981 when he founded the Deloitte Haskins & Sells office on the Gold Coast and began providing accounting and advisory services to Gold Coast businesses.

David has since gained broad experience in business advisory services for the management rights and hospitality sector and has been a regular presenter at tourism industry functions.

David served as Chairman of Moore Stephens HL and HLB Mann Judd (SE Qld) from 2003-2010.  He was also a board member of the HLB Mann Judd Australasian Association from 2005-2013.

Matthew Wallbridge - Partner

Matthew has been with Hospitality & Strata Pty Ltd and its predecessors for over 20 years after commencing as a Graduate Accountant.

During this time he has built an impressive portfolio of audit clients including Body Corporates, Management Rights Trust Accounts and statutory audits.

Matthew places a high priority on ensuring that Hospitality & Strata Pty Ltd has a clear understanding about each client’s business so that our audits are relevant, helpful to the management team and result in minimal disruption to business operations.

Matthew’s passion lies in interrogating and understanding the dynamics of organisations, their business models and how they operate in an ever-changing environment.
